Learn more about UK MEWPS Ltd, here’s a brief but descriptive history of the past 13+ years providing clients with equipment and digital services.
After 20+ years employed within the Equipment Hire Industry, Andy Laking left behind the PLC Directorship roles to create a sales consultancy dedicated to supporting equipment hirers and manufacturers. Andy was the first person in the UK to set-up as a freelance ‘field-based’ sales consultant.
To support a rapidly growing customer base of both UK and international clients, equip-mentor was created to further extend the digital marketing and website services into a wider range of offerings. Video production, 3D Animation and eCommerce services were growth areas.
After start-up in 2016, this online eCommerce business was fast to gain traction and expanded into the UK’s very first Franchisor of ‘Safety Equipment, Spill Control & Workwear Supplies’. Franchisees where in several locations, with appointed resellers, extending reach across the entire UK.
Andy Laking created Trinity Web Design Ltd to provide high-quality websites and web services to Plant & Access Equipment Hirers, Safety Equipment OEMs and industry-related Construction based UK SMEs who wanted an experienced developer from within their specific sectors. Julie joined Andy in the business just a few months later, together they and their team are the Web Partners for UK MEWPS Ltd and MEWPS.UK
